During the meeting, which was documented and shared on social media, Ibori-Suenu expressed her delight, stating, “Earlier today, I visited the office of President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio with my lovely Husband Prince Shakiru Abioye Suenu.”
This visit came after Ibori hosted Akpabio at his residence in Abuja the previous night.
Ibori took to social media to express his pleasure, saying, “It was indeed a great pleasure to host the President of the Senate H.E. Godswill Akpabio last night.
I wish him God’s grace, guidance, and wisdom in his new assignment.”
Akpabio Reveals Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of Senate Committees
According to News About Nigeria, Senate President Godswill Akpabio has made an announcement regarding the chairpersons, vice chairpersons, and members of several Senate standing committees for the 10th National Assembly.
During Tuesday’s plenary, Akpabio disclosed the leadership and composition of the committees, which include the Senate Committee on Rules and Business, the Senate Committee on Senate Services, the Senate Committee on Appropriations, the Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct and Public Petitions, the Senate Committee on Public Accounts, the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence, and the Senate Committee on Legislative Compliance.
