In other news, Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has bestowed a full-ride scholarship upon Umeh Kamsiyochukwu Precious, the candidate who achieved the highest score in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

Miss Umeh, hailing from Anambra State, garnered a remarkable total score of 360, earning her the distinction as the highest scorer in the UTME. The announcement was made by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Governor Soludo lauded Miss Umeh for bringing pride to the state through her exceptional academic performance. In recognition of her achievement, he has granted her a scholarship to pursue any course of her choice at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, a prestigious institution within the state.

The statement read;

“In further celebration of Miss Umeh’s feat, Governor Soludo has announced a well-deserved scholarship for her to study any course of her choice at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Anambra State.

“The scholarship will not only serve as a token of the state government’s appreciation for her hard work but also provide her with the opportunity to pursue her dreams and contribute to the development of the state in the future.”
