In a daring act of deception, a man disguised as a customer managed to make off with a luxurious Mercedes Benz GLB 250 during a test drive in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) News About Nigeria gathered.

The incident has left car dealer Mohammed Manga and the FCT Police Command on high alert as they intensify efforts to track down the stolen vehicle.

The car dealer, Mohammed Manga, had initially entrusted the sleek Mercedes Benz to a fellow car dealer for a potential sale. Little did they know that the so-called prospective buyer, identified as Henry, had devious plans in mind.

Seizing the opportunity during a test run, Henry cunningly vanished into thin air, leaving the bewildered dealer behind.

The theft came to light when Mohammed Manga reported the incident to the FCT Police Command, three days after the incident took place. The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident and assured the public that every effort was being made to recover the stolen vehicle.

“The vehicle doesn’t have a plate number, but we will work closely with the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) in case someone attempts to register it,” stated SP Josephine Adeh. “We are on top of the case and are working diligently to track down the stolen Mercedes Benz GLB 250.”

The audacious act has sent shockwaves through the car dealership community in Abuja, as traders remain wary of potential criminals posing as customers. This incident serves as a stark reminder for car dealers to exercise caution and implement stringent security measures during test drives.

The FCT Police Command has urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle or the suspect, Henry, to come forward and assist with the investigation. The public’s cooperation is crucial in bringing the perpetrator to justice and recovering the stolen luxury car.

The theft of the Mercedes Benz GLB 250 has left both Mohammed Manga and the FCT Police Command determined to bring the offender to justice. Efforts are underway to strengthen security protocols within the car dealership industry, ensuring that such incidents are prevented in the future.

As the investigation unfolds, the FCT Police Command remains committed to its mission of safeguarding the lives and property of residents within the Federal Capital Territory. The recovery of the stolen Mercedes Benz GLB 250 would serve as a testament to the command’s dedication and efficiency in combating crime.

Car enthusiasts and concerned citizens alike eagerly await news of the Mercedes Benz’s recovery, hoping that justice will be served, and the stolen vehicle returned to its rightful owner. The incident serves as a cautionary tale and a reminder to remain vigilant in an increasingly deceptive world, where even a simple test drive can turn into a high-stakes game of deceit.
