Robinhood, the popular trading platform, has announced a new feature that will allow users to access its cryptocurrency features from external applications.

This move will enable users to trade assets through Robinhood’s cryptocurrency exchange without having to log into their Robinhood Crypto account.

The feature, called Robinhood Connect, will first be available on two crypto wallets, the Solana wallet Phantom and the multi-coin wallet Exodus. Robinhood plans to extend the feature to other applications in the coming months.

According to Robinhood’s press release seen by News About Nigeria,  Robinhood Connect will allow users to fund their Web3 wallets while using other dApps, bypassing additional steps and accessing their Robinhood credentials.

The launch of Robinhood Connect is part of the company’s push into the cryptocurrency space, following the launch of its non-custodial iOS wallet earlier this year. The new feature will enable Robinhood to expand its reach in the crypto market and attract new users to its platform.

While Robinhood’s move into the cryptocurrency space has been met with both excitement and skepticism, the company’s user base continues to grow. The new feature is expected to be a welcome addition for Robinhood users who are looking for a more streamlined and convenient way to access the platform’s cryptocurrency features.

As the popularity of cryptocurrencies continues to soar, the trading industry is becoming increasingly competitive. Robinhood’s new feature is just one example of how companies are innovating to attract new users and stay ahead of the curve.
