Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna has lashed out at his friend and colleague, Alex Ekubo, for publicly sharing their private chat on social media.
News about Nigeria gathered Ekubo took to his Instagram page on April 19 to reveal their chat, which started as a regular football conversation but quickly escalated into a war of words.
In the chat, Ekubo was seen using derogatory names like “swine,” “animal,” and “ewu” to refer to IK Ogbonna.
In response, IK Ogbonna said that his late mother’s ghost would slap Alex Ekubo for insulting him.
However, the drama took a different turn when IK Ogbonna made a grammatical error, misspelling “once” as “ones.”
Alex Elubo capitalized on the mistake and mocked IK Ogbonna for it.
Alex then took the fight to his Instagram page, with over 4 million followers, to ridicule IK Ogbonna.
Alex Ekubo captioned the chats
Pls I need 5 people to confirm they attended primary school with @ikogbonna because i don’t understand the immigrant spelling,”
He demanded that people who attended primary school with IK Ogbonna should confirm it, as he doubted IK Ogbonna’s ability to spell correctly.
This move did not go down well with IK, who called out Alex for exposing their private chats and labeled him a bad friend.
In his response, IK Ogbonna commented,
“You are the worst friend I have had in a long time. Stupid mental ewu.”
The public airing of their private conversation has caused mixed reactions from fans and followers of the two actors.
