A man in Oklahoma City shot his wife because she did not keep quiet when he asked her to.
The statement was first released by authorities in Oklahoma on October 20, 2021 as confirmed by News About Nigeria that the man had shot his 33-year-old wife in her head because “she would not shut up,”
After a year and a half of the committed offence, the man was sentenced to life in prison.
Deputies with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office were informed in Spencer shortly before 6 a.m.
On October 20, 2021, the news had stated, “When they arrived they found a female victim who had been shot in the head,”.
The victim was rushed to a hospital and survived the shooting.
Her 27-year-old husband was arrested and charged with one count of shooting with intent to kill.
He was later sentenced to life in prison on April 11 2023.
He will be eligible for parole after 35 years.
The name of the man was not given to protect the identity of the woman who was shot.
