In a statement released on Monday and seen by News About Nigeria, Ayinde stated that he is comfortable working under Governor Sanwo-Olu in Lagos State and had no intentions of leaving his present position.

Ayinde also stressed that the position of Chief of Staff is a sensitive and confidential political position in government and cannot be imposed on anyone.

He appreciated those who believe in his capacity and truthfulness, but urged them to stop the social media placements, stating that the position of Chief of Staff does not require any form of advertisement.

The denial by Ayinde has put to rest the speculations and rumours making the rounds on social media concerning his interest in the position of Chief of Staff to President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
