Wizkid Set to Release His Fifth Studio Album
The Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has announced the release date of his fifth studio album, “More Love, Less Ego” (MILLE).
He made the announcement on his Instagram story, stating that the album would be released on August, 5th 2022.
The Grammy award winner wrote on his Instagram story where he also mentioned some of the contributors of his forthcoming album, News About Nigeria understands.
MLLE will be his fifth studio album and will feature both home and foreign artists like Naira Marley, Buju BXN, Ayra Starr, Skepta, TY Dolla and Flame.
Wizkid told his fans that he made the album with lots of love for them. He wrote, “I finished my album days ago! See you soon!! Love you all for real #MLLE”.
He added, “Special thanks to everyone that helped me put this together. Y’all got a special place in my heart. #MLLE.
“I made this one with a lot of love. Opoju!! (It’s plenty) #MLLE.”
Hinting at a special show for the album, Wizkid added, “#MLLE LA Special show.”
More Life, Less Ego is coming after Wizkid released his last album, Made In Lagos. In 2021, Wizkid received two Grammy nominations for the Made In Lagos Album — Global Music Album, and Best Global Music Performance for Essence, the hit song from the album featuring Tems.
However, The 14-track album Made In Lagos, featured artists from around the world like Burna Boy, Tems, Damian Marley, Skepta, Projexx, H.E.R, and Ella Mai. Wizkid also went ahead to release a deluxe edition of the last album where he collaborated with Justin Biener and BNXN (Buju).
