Peter Okoye Clarifies EFCC Allegations, Denies Involvement Of Twin Brother Paul In Petition

Paul Okoye of the defunct PSquare band who is now popularly known as Rudeboy has accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye, aka, Mr P of stealing his song, News About Nigeria reports.

The singer also accused the producer of the song of stealing from him to give to his brother.

Rudeboy made the allegation after his twin brother announced the release of his new single ‘Winning’ on social media.

According to him, the song is part of the singles in the album he is planning to release next year June.

In a post on his official Instagram page on Friday, Rudeboy also released snippets of his own song.

The snippets shared by the brothers carries the same lyrics, beat but different style of singing.

His post reads, “Song title: Winning. Written and sang by Rudeboy. Produced by same producer. Now how come? Now am I supposed to release another version? Mr Producer, your case is for another day.

“Just a simple thing: Bring 6 songs, let me bring 6 songs. I Submitted 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-singing my own song? word for word. Song that was supposed to be in my album next year, June.”

Taking to his Instagram story, the singer also threatened that once his brother releases any song that is his, he would also release the original version.

“The days of manipulation are over!! And to the management, make I hear any song wey na only me sing, I go release the original version. Oloriburuku! Music is not that hard!,” he wrote.

The singer’s twin is yet to respond to the allegation but have gone ahead to release the official video of the song.

The development has sparked mixed feelings amongst fans who are beckoning on the singers to bury the hatchet and return to being a team.

Also, some of their fans have taken sides, as one group is supporting Rudeboy while the other is for Mr P.
