Sheila Courage, the estranged wife of Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW and logistics manager for Nigerian singer Davido, has addressed recent rumours about her alleged plans to remarry.
The rumours started circulating after a pre-wedding video was shared on her social media, sparking speculation about a new chapter in her life.
News About Nigeria reported that in the video, Sheila spoke about her unwavering belief in love and her readiness to keep searching for her perfect love story, even if it required multiple attempts.
“I identify as a hopeless romantic because I believe everyone deserves a perfect love story. And I don’t care how many times you have to try. I believe it’s worth fighting for and love is worth going on any journey until you find your love story. And I’m glad to have found mine” she said in the video.
She also addressed her partner, thanking him for being part of her journey and expressing her love.
However, Sheila has since clarified the situation.
In a new post on her Instagram story, she revealed that the video was not an announcement of an upcoming wedding but rather part of a wedding-themed shoot.
“You guys, it was a wedding shoot, not an actual wedding o. Vendors cannot be the one to post about a wedding before the bride nau. Did you see me post? I apologize for the misunderstanding but please, it’s a shoot. Save the congratulations and pitching for the future if you get to know of it. Thank you,” she explained.
