Three men have been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly Raping a 15-year-old girl, News About Nigeria reports.
This was confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement on Wednesday.
He noted that the suspects identified as Vincent Omar, 22; Leonard Nwodo, 30; and Henry Chiokwe, 17, were arrested in the Festac area of the state.
The arrest, he stated came after a complaint was made at Area ‘E’ Festac Command on the 26th of September on behalf of the teenager.
The statement reads, “The survivor alleged that she met Omar sometime in 2022, when she was 13 years old, and they exchanged phone numbers, and ever since then he called her on the phone to come to his house, and he asked her to give him a blow job.
“She stated further that sometime in May 2024, she met Omar’s friend, Nwodo, at her mother’s shop, and they also exchanged phone numbers, and that Nwodo also invited her to Omar’s house where he had carnal knowledge of her.
“She said that Chiokwe also had canal knowledge of her.
He further stated that Messrs Omar and Chiokwe threatened to post the girl’s nude pictures on the internet, hence, the report at the police station.
He, however, noted that the suspects have been arraigned, adding that they will face the full wrath of the law.
He also warned the people against indulging in crimes, especially sexual crimes, stating that they will always be caught and will not go scot-free.
