Popular Nigerian skitmaker and content creator, Sydney Egere, also known as Sydney Talker, called on Nigerians on Friday to pray for Nigerian singer, Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, popularly known as, Khaid.
News About Nigeria reports that Sydney’s call for prayers for Khalid is coming two days after the 19-year-old singer was reportedly rushed to the hospital over internal bleeding.
A now-viral video on social media showed Khalid being wheeled into a room with hospital workers surrounding him.
Sydney made the call for prayers for his signee in a post on his official X account on Friday.
Though Sydney didn’t give any updates on Khaid’s current state, he noted that prayers are urgently needed for the singer.
The post reads, “Pray for Khaid. He needs your prayers right now.”
Reacting to Sydney’s post, an X user, @zillionwoods, prayed for quick recovery for the ailing actor saying, “God will not forsake His Children, God will put His healing Hands upon him in Jesus Mighty Name.”
Another X user, @KlassicTheHost, however tasked Sydney to tell his followers what exactly is wrong with Khaid instead of just asking them to pray.
He said, “I ask again, What’s the update with him? As we continue to pray, give us update on what happened gan gan.”
Khaid, who is currently signed to Sydney Talker’s Neville Records, rose to stardom with the release of his hit song, “With You.”
Joining Neville Records in 2022 also earned Khaid his first chart entry on the Nigeria TurnTable Top 50 single chart at number forty-eight on February 14, 2022.
