AGN Suspends Movies Involving Riverine Areas, Boat Riding, Ban Actors From Featuring In Adanma Luke’s Movie

Nollywood actor, Prince Eke has berated his colleague, Jerry Amilo for posting a video of Junior Pope’s corpse on his official Facebook page.

News About Nigeria reported that Pope was confirmed dead on Wednesday night after several attempts to resuscitate him failed.

The actor, along with other crew members, drowned in Anam River in Anambra state on their way back from the set of a movie produced by Adanma Luke, titled, “Another Side of Life.”

Jerry, who visited the hospital where Pope was confirmed dead, posted a clip of the deceased actor lying in state with cotton wool in his nose.

In the video, Jerry was seen watching Pope’s corpse, together with the national president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas.

Reacting to the clip shared by Jerry, Eke alleged that he posted it because he wanted to generate income from it since his Facebook page was monetized.

In a now viral video on social media, Eke said he was disappointed in Jerry and called him an insensitive old man who should cover his face in shame.

He said, “Jerry Amilo just posted a video of Junior Pope’s corpse with cotton wools in his nose. Such a very senseless man. I used to respect Jerry Amilo. Jerry Amilo I am disappointed in you, why would you post such a thing? For wetin? Why? For comments, for you to have traffic on your Facebook.

“You took a video of your friend, of your junior colleague lying dead, you made a video, watermarked the video because your facebook is monetised abi? You are using your junior colleague’s corpse to create content Jerry Amilo.”
