Primeboy Takes Legal Action Against Mohbad’s Widow

Ibrahim Owodunni, known as Primeboy and a childhood friend of the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has initiated legal proceedings against Omowunmi Aloba, Mohbad’s widow.

News About Nigeria reported that Primeboy, who has been implicated as a prime suspect in the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, voluntarily turned himself in to the state police command two days after being declared wanted on October 4, 2023.

Recently, Primeboy visited the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Panti, accompanied by Ayobami Fisayo, also known as Spending.

This visit was part of the bail conditions granted to Primeboy during Mohbad’s case, requiring him to sign in at the State CID every Tuesday as a precautionary measure to prevent him from fleeing.

According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police public relations officer, Primeboy was summoned for questioning regarding alleged defamation of character and other accusations outlined in a petition filed by Wunmi.

In response, Primeboy shared a copy of the petition filed against him by Wunmi on his Instagram page on Friday.

He urged Wunmi to reveal the truth about her husband’s death to the world.

Accompanying the post was a caption wherein Primeboy wrote, “I told you to stop mentioning my Name…… You didn’t stop……. Now It is the time to tell the whole World the truth you said you know about what killed your boyfriend (Mohbad)….. Or you face the Music!!!!!!!….”

Meanwhile, Wunmi has accused her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba of collaborating with those who bullied her husband until his death and of deliberately refusing to pursue a court-ordered DNA test for Mohbad’s son, Liam.

Wunmi, as she is known, claimed that Mohbad’s father views Liam as a competitor and a threat to his access to Mohbad’s property.

Expressing her distress in an Instagram Live video, Wunmi pleaded for support from Nigerians, adding that she would fight for her son’s rights.

She implored Mohbad’s father to obtain a court order for a DNA test, suggesting that his reluctance to do so stems from his satisfaction with the current circumstances.

Wunmi accused him of capitalising on Mohbad’s death to generate income online and claimed that he is colluding with individuals who previously bullied Mohbad.
