Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All Stars housemate, Tolanibaj, has faced criticism from Nigerians following her remarks on Saskay’s recent relationship controversy.
News About Nigeria reported that Saskay, who went public with her relationship with a chef in February, found herself making headlines after a leaked chat between her boyfriend and another party surfaced online.
In the leaked conversation, Chef Derin said he was not satisfied with their relationship, describing sex with Saskay as terrible and admitting he felt pressured into going public with their romance.
During a recent episode of her podcast, Tolanibaj commented on the situation, praising Saskay for maintaining a scandal-free reputation in the BBN community.
However, she criticised Saskay’s handling of the relationship, suggesting that she had tarnished her brand and credibility by staying with Chef Derin despite the negative publicity.
“Saskay is in a relationship with a guy called Chef Derin, and there is one thing he said about her that is trending online now – that sex with her is terrible,” Tolanibaj stated.
“Saskay is someone who doesn’t have a stain on her, clean brand. I will say that Saskay fumbled. Because if she wants to be with him, she cannot. It is very embarrassing, it has ruined her credibility. Bad PR for her vagina,” she added.
However, Tolanibaj’s comments drew backlash from netizens who accused her of hypocrisy and reminded her of her own past romantic entanglements, notably her relationship with fellow BBN housemate Neo Akpofure.
