News reaching News About Nigeria is that a family of five has been burned to death by bandits in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Recall that a fresh crisis broke out in Plateau State yesterday, which left many people killed and several houses destroyed in Sabogari village in Mangu LGA.

The attack reportedly occurred following a dispute between a native and a Fulani herder in the area.

The governor, Caleb Mutfwang, in response to the crisis, imposed a 24-hour curfew in Mangu LGA, but the attack is reportedly still ongoing as they are still recording fresh cases.

According to a post shared by an X user, @von_Bismack, the family of five was set ablaze in their home despite the curfew set by the Plateau State government.

In the post, the X user revealed that the victims were three children and their parents.

The post reads, “Dorcas, Emma, Beatrice, Dad and Mum. A family of 5 was set ablaze in Mangu, plateau State despite the curfew imposed by the state government.”

The X user further noted that the perpetrators of the inhumane act won’t stop until they are forced by the people to do so.

Reacting to the gruesome murder of the family of five, another X user, @harrykel20 lamented the fact that security agencies in the nation are doing nothing to stop the incessant killings that is now the order of the day in the nation.

He also stated that, because the perpetrators know that they cannot be stopped by security agencies, they now unleash terror on innocent Nigerians.

“These people unleash mayhem and go Scot free. Nothing is done to stop them. It’s so sad that we just sit and allow people storm communities with guns and just kill. We don’t have any security in this country at all.”
