Man Wanted For Stabbing Sex Worker To Death In Delta

The Delta State Police Command has declared a yet-to-be-identified man wanted for allegedly stabbing a sex worker simply identified as Vera, to death in Delta State, News About Nigeria reports.

The unfortunate incident occurred on New Year’s Eve at a hotel in Osubi, Okpe local government area, Delta State, after the man allegedly refused to pay the sex worker for the service rendered.

According to a source who pleaded anonymity, an argument had ensued between the sex worker and her client after he refused to pay her after enjoying her services.

The source stated that the client had been drunk, and as the argument escalated, he broke a bottle of beer and stabbed her around the neck.

She, however, noted that before the people around her could recover from the shock of the violent death, the suspect had bolted from the scene.

She further disclosed that the deceased had been their senior in the profession and had put them through as she moved to the area before them, adding that she was not a troublesome person and never had issues with anyone.

She stated that she and the others were confused as to why the client had refused to pay their madam after the agreement they had and even went as far as killing her for demanding her money.

According to her, she is leaning towards the notion that the death of their senior colleague was manipulated spiritually, as the deceased was a friendly and good person.

The State Police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, however, confirmed the incident, stating that justice will be served.
