An unidentified police officer under the Ogun State Command of the Force has reportedly shot popular Nigerian actor Azeez Ololade Ijaduade in the Iperu area of the state.

His attack was disclosed in an Instagram post made by one of his colleagues, Abiodun Adebanjo with the handle @iamabiodunadebanjo in the middle of the night.

In the post shared, Ijaduade’s colleague revealed that the actor was shot by the police officer and has been rushed to Babcock University Hospital for treatment as he was unconscious after the attack.

The post shared on Abiodun’s Instagram partly reads, “Please we need help in Iperu. My director, Azeez Ijaduade, @kingzeez1, was shot by a Nigeria Police personnel. He is presently at Babcock University Teaching Hospital.”

Adebanjo further called on anyone with the contacts of the Inspector General of Police or the Commissioner of Police to share them with him so he could report the incident to them.
