Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described supporters of the Labour Party as lawless, self-seeking people who are driven by religious and ethnic bigotry.

News About Nigeria gathered that this was in response to the comments made against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 25th Presidential election, Datti Baba Ahmed, on national TV.

Datti, in an interview on Thursday, stated that respecting President Tinubu did not mean he was not going to address him as a drug dealer.

He further stated that the ‘guns’ in the hands of Nigerians should be redirected against the enemies of the country, maintaining that Nigerians must reclaim the country.

Reacting to this, that former Aviation Minister took to his handle on X to berate the vice presidential candidate, daring him to provide the names of the enemies of Nigeria.

He noted that Datti Ahmed was embittered as they had not gotten over their devastating trouncing at the polls and were still reeling from the pain.

According to him, it has been five months since the Labour Party, headed by Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed, was defeated and humiliated at the February 25 polls, noting that they were not able to come second but came third.

He further likened the ‘Obedients’ to an army of locusts, who, in a bid to follow their leader blindly, devoured and destroyed everything in their paths.

Fani Kayode also noted that the Obi’s supporters saw everyone as a liar, cheat, thief, drug addict, and election rigger, among other despicable things, which according to him, was a reflection of who they were.
