British rapper Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., widely known as Stormzy, has returned to social media to express his support for Palestine in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Stormzy, who had been away from social media for several weeks, made a powerful statement on his verified Instagram handle on Thursday night.

News About Nigeria reports that in his post, he reiterated his stance on standing with the oppressed whenever there is perceived injustice in the world.

The rapper’s Instagram message read: “I hope everyone is good, some fleeting thoughts; Free Palestine.

“In the future, if there is ever a clear injustice in the world, no matter how big or small, 100 times out of 100, I will be on the side of the oppressed. Unequivocally. As I always have been. Social media is a brilliant way to stand up for what is right, There are also a whole load of other ways to do this.”

Stormzy also shared some personal updates and interests, including learning how to play Patel, golf, and chess.

He expressed a desire to learn horse riding to eventually acquire a black horse like the one from the Lloyds TS8 advert and name it Skeng.

The rapper’s relationship with social media is complex.
