Mohbad Autopsy Results Expected In 4 Weeks

The Lagos State Police have officially identified the nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, as the principal suspect in the ongoing investigation into the death of singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The police also stated that Ayobami Sodiq (Spending) is considered complicit in the homicide case for inviting Ogedengbe, an unqualified and unregistered nurse, to treat Mohbad.

Ibrahim Oluwatosin Owoduni, aka Prime Boy, has also been implicated in the chain of events that led to Mohbad’s death, News About Nigeria gathered.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, provided this update on Friday during a press briefing on the ongoing investigation.

According to Owohunwa, the events leading to Mohbad’s death occurred between September 10th and September 13th, 2023, with incidents spanning Ikorodu and Lekki in Lagos State.

Feyisayo Ogedengbe, an auxiliary nurse, administered multiple injections to Mohbad, which triggered an immediate reaction resulting in the singer’s death.

Ogedengbe is not a qualified registered nurse, and her illegal and medically negligent actions are believed to be directly responsible for Mohbad’s death.

The time frame for the administration of the injections and Mohbad’s subsequent death was less than an hour.

The Medical Panel that reviewed Ogedengbe’s actions concluded that she went beyond her limitations as an auxiliary nurse by administering IV Ceftriaxone to Mohbad.

This action was identified as the most likely cause of the anaphylactic reaction that led to Mohbad’s death.

The report also stated that if Mohbad had received prompt treatment in a hospital, his death could have been possibly prevented.

Ibrahim Oluwatosin Owoduni, known as Prime Boy, is considered complicit in Mohbad’s death because the injury that ultimately resulted in Mohbad’s actions and led to his death was sustained during a physical altercation between the two individuals.

Ayobami Sodiq (Spending) is also regarded as complicit in the homicide case for inviting Feyisayo Ogedengbe, whom he knew to be an unqualified and unregistered nurse, to administer the potent medications that triggered reactions leading to Mohbad’s death.

The investigation into Mohbad’s death is ongoing, with all suspects facing potential legal consequences as the case progresses.
