Economic Hardship: President Tinubu Orders Immediate Release Of Grains To FCT Residents

Bayo Onanuga, a former aide to President Bola Tinubu, claims that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has no concrete evidence to remove President Bola Tinubu as the country’s president.

Making this claim in the wake of the controversies surrounding the authenticity of the Chicago State University certificate submitted by President Tinubu in the buildup to the 2023 presidential election, Onanuga asked Atiku to allow President Tinubu to focus on governance.

“Caleb Westberg, registrar of Chicago State University has completed the oral deposition on President Bola Tinubu’s documents at the university. Again, just like the preceding documents, Atiku got nothing to use to remove Tinubu as the elected President of Nigeria. I hope he will now allow Tinubu to govern in peace,” a tweet by Onanuga read.

News About Nigeria reports that Onanuga’s comment comes just as Caleb Westberg, Registrar of Chicago State University, declared under oath that President Bola Tinubu’s replacement certificate given to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is not a document of the university, indicating that it is a fabrication.

Following Judge Nancy Maldonado’s decision to allow the publication of Bola Tinubu’s records at Chicago State University, Westberg provided his testimony in a deposition. Westberg claimed during the deposition that the institution does not recognise the emblem on the replacement certificate.

Although CSU had long maintained that President Tinubu attended its school, enrolling in 1977 and graduating in 1979, its inability to vouch for the authenticity of the certificate the former governor of Lagos State submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission sent shockwaves through Nigeria and the rest of the world.
