Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, an ardent supporter of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has said that he didn’t expect justice from the Presidential Election Petition Court.

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT has upheld the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the country’s president, News About Nigeria reports.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, leader of the five-man panel, said, “This petition accordingly lacks merit. I affirm the return of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties are to bear their cost.”

In response to the court’s judgment, Charly Boy took to his social media platform, X page, to express his views.

He said he didn’t anticipate a just outcome and stated his belief that Nigerians may not have grown weary of enduring hardship.

“I didn’t expect justice,” he tweeted.

“But I have a strong feeling say we never really tire to suffer. Like Datti said, “the fate of the common man doesn’t lie in the hands of the judiciary but in the hands of the common man himself”

“E be like say we never ready.”
