A throwback video featuring popular singer Iyanya has recently resurfaced online, reigniting discussions about his past relationships with Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson and Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh.
News About Nigeria gathered that the video showcases an interview Iyanya had with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the show “Rubbin’ Minds,” where he addressed the reasons behind his failed relationship with Yvonne Nelson and denied dating Tonto Dikeh.
The controversy surrounding the singer’s past relationships was sparked by a recent revelation made by Yvonne Nelson, who claimed that Tonto Dikeh had been involved with Iyanya during their time together.
In the throwback interview, Iyanya was asked about the reasons for his breakup with Yvonne Nelson.
In response, Iyanya explained that despite their efforts to make the relationship work, it eventually ended like many other relationships.
When questioned about the presence of a third person in their relationship, Iyanya confirmed its existence.
However, he refuted the suggestion that Tonto Dikeh was the cause of their breakup and denied ever being romantically involved with the Nollywood actress.
