Footages have emerged showing how Conor McGregor led sexual assault accuser into a VIP men’s bathroom at NBA Finals last weekend, News About Nigeria reports.
The MMA fighter was recently accused of carrying out a rape attempt on a woman he met during the last NBA finals in Miami last week.
The victim whose name has been withheld for security reasons revealed to the police through her attorney that the MMA champion tried forcing her to perform oral sex on him at the VIP men’s bathroom at an NBA game while using his entourage of security to guard the door.
However, there has been a twist of the tongue by the accuser and her attorney, following the release of a video from the event made available to MailOnline.
Footage from the video shows McGregor emerging from the bathroom then approaching the woman, taking her by the hand, and walking back towards the bathroom, contrary to an initial statement by the lady that she was forced into the bathroom
According to McGregor’s attorneys, “the footage undermines the woman’s original allegation that he and his security guards forced her into the restroom.”
Meanwhile, the accuser is said to have also issued a fresh statement, noting that the woman thought she was being led out of the venue to go to the Four Seasons hotel where he was staying.
“My client was under the belief they were leaving and going to the Four Seasons Hotel, as Conor had previously asked her to join him at his hotel room.”
While the Miami police through its spokesperson said investigations are on to bring full details of the matter to bare, McGregor has denied the allegation, claiming the young lady is only seeking money and attention, as he did nothing to her.
