Asake, the Nigerian musician behind the hit song “Terminator,” has spoken out about the importance of the Yoruba language in his music.

In a recent interview with NewsLive Prime, he explained that the language is a vital part of his music and that he mostly sings in Yoruba News About Nigeria gathered.

According to Asake, many people who listen to his music understand Yoruba, which is one of the major languages spoken in Nigeria.

He believes that music goes beyond the lyrics and that it’s the feeling that it evokes that matters the most.

He said;

Yoruba is so important to me. To me, the way I understand music is that it is a feeling.”
