Old Photo Surfaces Contradicting Basketmouth’s Claim of No Pictures with AY
A picture of popular Nigerian comedians Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, and Ayo Makun, also known as AY, has surfaced on social media, contradicting Basketmouth’s recent claim that no pictures of them together exist.
The old photo, taken over a decade ago, has been circulating online after Basketmouth’s interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he spoke about his alleged 17-year-old beef with AY.
As gathered by News About Nigeria, during the podcast interview, Basketmouth stated that he and AY are not friends and that he did not invite AY to his wedding.
He further mentioned that they have never been friends and have never been to each other’s houses. Basketmouth also claimed that there were no pictures of him and AY together on social media.
However, social media users quickly pointed out the existence of an old photo that showed Basketmouth and AY posing together.
The photo, which was taken over a decade ago, shows the two comedians smiling and posing for the camera.
