Oby Ezekwesili, the former Minister of Education has made an outcry to the deafening hears of those in power.

The ex-minister stated that those in the political class in the country had refused to listen and aid the cry of its citizens.

This is coming amid the economic crisis in the country, causing an exponential fall in the Naira and constant hike in the petrol price.

News About Nigeria understands that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had increased the pump price to about N617 per litre, from the N500 per litre that followed the fuel subsidy removal.

Due to this ongoing situation, Lagos roads, known for their constant hold-ups meet with a surprise off recent, as most of its highways and main roads are now free of traffic, even across many States, according to witnesses reports.

Taking to the blue bird app, Twitter, Oby Ezekwesii bemoaned while berating the political class for going on with their daily activities despite the tough situation in the country.

She wrote, “Ah. The Nigerian political class is definitely hard of hearing.

“Your Citizens are not in a good place at this time and you somehow cannot see it?

“You are carrying on like all is well?

“Wisdom is profitable to direct.

“Get wisdom and in all your getting…Get understanding.

“You all really need to understand how your citizens are feeling these days and adjust yourselves accordingly.”

In other news, Asari Dokubo, the Niger Delta militant leader has sent a note of warning to haters of the Nigerian president, Bola Tinubu to stay far from the President or they would be made to face the music.
