Femi Adebayo’s Wife Claps Back at Dayo Amusa Over Bobrisky Controversy

Aduke Omotayo, the wife of Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo, has issued a response to actress Dayo Amusa following their clash over the recent controversy surrounding Bobrisky’s win as the Best Dressed Female at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere.

News About Nigeria reported that the feud began after Bobrisky was awarded the Best Dressed Female title at the movie premiere, sparking outrage among many.

Dayo Amusa took to her Instagram to express her disapproval, criticising the judges and organisers for naming a crossdresser as the best-dressed female.

She suggested that a separate category should have been created to appreciate crossdressers.

In response, Aduke Omotayo defended her husband, Femi Adebayo, who presented the award to Bobrisky.

She questioned why her husband was being blamed for presenting the award and slammed Dayo Amusa for trying to bring him down.

Dayo Amusa responded, stating that while it’s understandable for Aduke to defend her husband, throwing banter only reflects her shallow-mindedness.

She stressed the need for Femi Adebayo to take responsibility for his actions.

Aduke fired back, labelling Dayo as a hypocrite and evil-minded.

She recounted how Dayo had apologised to Femi earlier in the day but failed to follow through with her promise to retract her statement.

Taking to her Instagram page, Aduke called out Dayo as a hypocrite once again, adding that God’s blessings outweigh any curse Dayo may attempt to bring.

“Dayo! You are a hypocrite and evil-minded! Just this morning you were apologizing to Femi on the phone. You claimed you didn’t mean it the way it was interpreted and that you would do a video to correct that but of course, you lied!

“Who God has blessed, No Dayo can curse. God is bigger than you,” Aduke wrote.

Meanwhile, the controversy surrounding Bobrisky’s win has garnered reactions from several celebrities.

Actress Toyin Abraham expressed disbelief at Bobrisky’s win, while singer Portable warned Bobrisky against claiming membership in the sisterhood, threatening to call the police on him.

In response, Bobrisky labelled Portable a dirty boy and blocked him on Instagram.

On the other hand, Morayo Brown, host of TVC’s Your View, defended Bobrisky, stating that Nigerians have no right to criticise him as long as he hasn’t broken any laws.
