Following an online viral video of a boy bragging to his friends about rapping a girl, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has launched a search for him, News About Nigeria reports.
The Agency, whose attention was drawn to the video, appealed to the public via its official X account to report any information about the said boy to the agency using its toll-free hotline or via a direct message through its social media platforms.
As contained in the video sighted online on Tuesday night, the teenage-looking boy was heard recounting to his friends how an unknown girl told him she was afraid of getting pregnant and refused to sleep with him.
He also revealed how he went against the girl’s wish by luring her to bed and forcing his way inside her, which could be termed rape.
Recall that earlier this year, the Lagos State Police Command arrested one Olumide Oyewole for allegedly robbing and raping a lady simply identified as Cynthia at the Ilasan Area of Lekki.
According to report, Oyewole was reported to have broken into the house of the said lady around 8 pm and ended up raping and robbing her while armed with a knife.
The Police Command also said that the suspect tied the hands of his victim to enable him to satisfy his sexual pleasure and thereafter stole an iPhone 12 Promax, one Samsung S9, one small Nokia phone; two bottles of perfume, two wristwatches, one necklace, an iPhone charger and $10, 000 from his victim
