Renowned Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has exerted his regret that former midfield maestro and England International, Steven Gerrard could not take home the Premier League title during his stay with The Reds.

According to Henry, Gerrard really did his part excellently during his time with Liverpool, however, he found it weird he never won the Premier League with them.

Henry stated this while speaking with PFA.

Gerrard had, however, won the UEFA Champions League in 2005 and two FA Cups during his time at Anfield.

According to Henry, it saddens him that Gerrard never won the Premier League title with the Reds.

The Frenchman said, “This guy [Gerrard], it pains me to look at him knowing that he didn’t win the [Premier] League. I’m not saying that to be sarcastic, understand me well. ‘Stevie G did not win the league’, when I say it, it sounds weird.”

Meanwhile, Henry won the Premier League title twice with Arsenal during his professional football career

In other news, the former Manchester United forward, Ronaldo featured as Al-Nassr lost against Celta Vigo at the Estadio Do Algarve on Monday.

Ronaldo played the first half, which ended goalless.
