Actress Ronke Oshodi Oke has spoken out about her trauma while working for the All Progressive Congress (APC), News About Nigeria reports.
In an interview with media personality Chude, Ronke Oshodi expressed sorrow for working with the APC, which dashed her ambitions of repairing the country.
She bemoaned how the governor of Lagos state attempted to cover up for the infamous End SARS programme by telling “three lies.”
Ronke Oshodi laments the pains of individuals who lost loved ones during the EndSARS affair, saying she regrets working for them.
She said:
“I felt APC is going to take Nigeria to the next level. So even while we were campaigning for them, I didn’t collect much. I wasn’t looking at the money, I was looking at what is going to happen later,” she said.
“All that they have been doing, I was thinking eight years cannot fix Nigeria. We all know that. But when the EndSARS protest came up, I was so down.
“I was really really down because our governor was saying three different things at the same time. They said they didn’t kill anybody. But if one person died, fifty people have died with that one person. The people that person is feeding, their parents and siblings,”

Ronke Oshodi-Oke had earlier made headlines after images of her appearing to be incredibly skinny circulated online.
The latest photographs sent tongues wagging, with some speculating that she is suffering from one or more ailments.
In an interview, the actress, however, denied the allegations, claiming, I am 100% fine and okay.
She said:
“I am 100 percent fine and okay. But, I am on a weight loss journey for certain reasons. I would soon be 50 years old, and I feel this is the appropriate time to lose weight. By the time, I am getting close to 60, I would continue adding weight.
I had wanted to lose weight for a very long time. I had taken several weight loss pills, teas and different products that help to shed weight, but it didn’t work for me. I tried those for more than five years. Then, one day, I saw a product that works for me, and I grabbed the opportunity. When I started my weight loss journey, I weighed 110kg. Now, I am 87kg. My goal is 85kg. Once I get there, I would stop.”
