Popular Nigerian music star Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has condemned supports praising PSG’s Achraf Hakimi divorce saga that broke the internet space on Friday.

Hakimi left his wife, Hiba Abouk, who in a divorce paper, demanded 30 per cent of the PSG star’s belongings.

During the court process, Abouk realized that the World Cup semi-finalist legally has zero belongings and had saved all his properties: clothes, house, cars, jewelry, and so on worth 70 Million Euros in her mother’s name.

Reacting to the development, Peter Okoye, in a series of tweet, questioned why most men are rejoicing over the footballer’s story.

He advised all who cannot trust their partners not to marry. The singer also noted that they should remember their mother is someone’s wife.

Okoye wrote, #JustMyOwnViewAndOpinion I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story? Like I don’t get it🤷🏾‍♂ The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her, then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to suffer after a divorce?🤷🏾‍♂

“Remember!!!The one you trusted with all your property in the name of Mother was once your father’s wife. #HakimiDivorce.

“The mother u are clamoring about was/is also somebody’s wife at some point, before she became his mother. What if she was treated the same way?📌Pls Marry your Mother! EOS,” Okoye said.

“Make those supposed Hakims twitter warriors have that kind of man as inlaw. You go see how dem go, humble dem sef! Ndi ala!😂🤣😂🤣🤣

“Make all of una go marry una Mama!… no time!😂 Since Hakimi sense wan ki una,” the music star added.

News About Nigeria sampled some reactions on Okoye’s post.

A Twitter user, Ada ndi be Adeshi said, “Kindly note, no be only men dey rejoice over the Hakimi’s story oh. Women too join enough of this gold diggers bla bla story. If the Eboue’s story didn’t touch you, then what will?”

On the contrary, Benkingsley Nwashara, another user said that no wife of a wealthy individual should suffer financially after divorce, except such woman was a liability to the husband when they were together.

“If your wife will suffer financially after divorce then it’s either you married a liability or you turned your spouse into a liability.

“She should grow while the husband grows too.”
