The Osun state chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has initiated a comprehensive preparation strategy for the upcoming local government elections in the state.
News About Nigeria understands that as part of this effort, the party’s leadership has embarked on a thorough tour of all 36 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.
This tour aims to establish a strong presence and connect with potential voters in each LGA.
Concurrently, the party has opened a new state secretariat in Osogbo, the state capital, to enhance its administrative efficiency.
The new secretariat, located in the King Square Building, opposite Biket junction on Ikirun road, provides a more spacious and conducive environment for party activities.
This move was necessitated by the increasing number of individuals seeking to join the party, which had outgrown the previous secretariat.
Adegbaju Celestina, the Acting Secretary of the party, emphasised the importance of this new secretariat in accommodating the growing membership and providing better services to party faithful.
The unveiling of the new secretariat is scheduled to take place soon, with a date to be announced shortly.
In addition to the secretariat’s launch, the party has also commenced the unveiling of its offices in each Local Government Area.
The first office to be unveiled is located in Obokun Local Government, at Oke-Ese Street, beside Lapo Office, Ibokun.
This move demonstrates the party’s commitment to establishing a strong grassroots presence and engaging with voters at the local level.
The NNPP’s leadership has extended an invitation to all individuals who share the party’s vision of good governance to join their ranks.
According to Adegbaju, the NNPP represents the only viable hope for the masses, and its growing popularity is a testament to its commitment to positive change.
As the party continues its preparations for the local government elections, it remains focused on delivering on its promise of good governance and improving the lives of citizens in Osun state.
