Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere National Youths Council has been abducted.
He was kidnapped in Abuja on Monday, February 17, 2025.
The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N100 million for his release.
According to reports, Ojajuni was shot during the attack and sustained a bullet wound on his buttock.
His abductors have not yet made any further demands beyond the ransom.
The Afenifere National Youths Council has expressed deep concern over his safety and urged security agencies to take immediate action to secure his release.
A statement from the group described Ojajuni as a strong advocate for youth empowerment and development.
They called on the public to provide any useful information that could help locate him.
The circumstances surrounding his abduction remain unclear, and there is no confirmation yet on whether anyone else was injured during the attack.
Security agencies have not released any official statement regarding the incident.
The Afenifere National Youths Council has vowed to continue pushing for Ojajuni’s safe return and has urged the government to intensify efforts in tackling insecurity in the country.

“Prince Ojajuni is a prominent figure in Nigerian and a strong advocate for youth empowerment and development.
“We call on the Nigerian authorities to take immediate action to ensure Prince Ojajuni’s safe release. We also appeal to the general public to provide any information that may lead to his rescue.
“The Afenifere National Youths Council will continue to work tirelessly to ensure Prince Ojajuni’s safe return and to advocate for the safety and security of all Nigerians.”
