A shop owner has cried out after a lady who visited her shop stole a wig worth over N1.2 million.
The CCTV camera in the store showed the lady who came to revamp her wig stealing the hair when the sales rep was distracted with work on the hair she had brought for revamping.
The video showed her stylishly putting the wig into her bag and thereafter wiping her face, pretending as though noting had happened.
After her hair revamp was complete, the lady left the store in haste without anyone knowing what she had done until they discovered the wig was missing and decided to check the CCTV.
In the now viral CCTV footage on social media, the shop owner announced that anyone who could give the whereabouts of the lady would get a N250,000 reward.
She also revealed that the incident happened yesterday afternoon (November 7, 2024).
The video has left netizens wondering why such a looking lady could leave her home for a store just to steal.
Also many are chiding young ladies who usually put themselves under pressure to acquire what they cannot afford, noting that they would end up stealing and land themselves in trouble.

Over the years, there have been cases of people who stole clothes, shoes and even food items with the intention to ‘pepper’ those around them and to also show off during the festivities.
