Ondo Polls: Minister Rallies Behind Aiyedatiwa

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has rallied behind Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, drumming support for his election as governor in the November 16 election in Ondo State, News About Nigeria reports. 

Tunji-Ojo, in a goodwill message read on his behalf by the House of Representatives member representing Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency, Ifeoluwa Ehindero, praised Aiyedatiwa’s leadership role.

He noted that the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) employed a strategic approach to the 2025 budget, aimed at meeting the critical needs of the people of Ondo State.

Aiyedatiwa was in Akoko Northwest as part of his statewide campaign ahead of the governorship election in the state and commended the people of Akoko Northwest, thanking them for their enduring loyalty and support for the APC.

He also expressed gratitude to the people, stakeholders, traditional rulers, and leaders of Akoko Northwest for their unity and unwavering support, maintaining that the unity among the leaders, stakeholders, and every member of the APC in the area is truly inspiring.

The statement reads, “The Hon. Minister of Interior acknowledges your steadfast support and commitment to the ideals of our party.

“Together, we are all striving towards a unified, prosperous Ondo State under the able leadership of Gov. Aiyedatiwa, and the minister stands firmly with you as we approach this important election.”

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has shown time and again that he is a leader who listens and acts.

“His commitment to creating an inclusive budget that addresses the developmental needs of all regions in the state is a testament to his dedication to our communities.

“I urge the good people of Akoko Northwest to come out in full support on election day to keep this vision alive.”
