DJ Cuppy Launches Fund To Support African Students At New York University

Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has announced the launch of her philanthropic initiative, ‘Cuppy Fund’, aimed at supporting African students studying at New York University (NYU).

News About Nigeria reports that the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola made the announcement of her philanthropic initiative in a post shared on her official Instagram account late Tuesday.

Sharing a video where she unveiled the initiative, the billionaire heiress wrote, “So proud to launch the Cuppy Fund for African students at New York University.”

Speaking in the video at NYU, Cuppy noted that she is excited to be giving back to society and Africa as a whole.

Her announcement about ‘cuppy fund’s have since been sparking reactions as many are commending her for the initiative which is geared towards empowering young African scholars in NYU.

An Instagram user, @adelakuntufayl praised her efforts, stating, “She’s living her best life and she’s definitely on a mission to help lives.”

Also, @Phoenix Touch Makeover celebrated her commitment to education, stating, “Cuppy loves the learning culture. I love that about her. Congratulations, many more blessings.”

Another IG user, @Michael Great6 commended DJ Cuppy for her generosity and intelligence, noting, “A beautiful, intelligent, and entrepreneurial young lady with a heart of gold. Daddy must be super proud of you.”

@abbeyspecialtreats also appreciated Cuppy for the initiative, noting that she now loves now the DJ more because of the kind gesture.
