Ivy Ifeoma, the newlywed wife of music star, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy has sent a strong message to trolls.
Speaking in a post shared on her Instagram story on Monday, Ivy noted that she has encountered many trolls, and nothing fazes her anymore.
She, however, shared how disappointed she is in trolls who attack celebrities with the claim that they are cruising with them and seeking their attention.
Ivy further noted that she wished they could understand how embarrassing it is to drop hate comments for fun, recognition, or money.
This is as she noted that not everyone has the kind of heart Nigerian singer, Chike has.
News About Nigeria recalls that Chike had gifted a troll who claimed that Mohbad made him N1 million.
According to the singer, he gave him the money so he could eat because he believed he was hungry.
Speaking about Chike’s gesture in her post, Ivy noted that most trolls are now adopting the same format to get the attention of celebrities and also seek alms from them.
Ivy wrote, “I’ve come across a lot of trolls, and nothing fazes me, tbh, so this isn’t really about me. But, for some of these people, the moment they got a tad bit of attention, they changed the narrative to be, “It’s just a cruise”; it’s not that serious, ‘I just wanted your attention’. I love you; please help me/help my family.
“I wish you could understand how embarrassing it is to drop hate comments for fun, recognition or more. Lol, not everyone has Chike’s heart. They’re out to play now because of 1m. 1kobo, you no go see. Just save yourself the embarrassment, please 100% of the time, you really do look stupíd here.”
