The senior pastor of popular Lagos church, Harvesters International Christian centre, Bolaji Idowu, on Saturday officiated the wedding of Nollywood star, Sharon Ooja and her lover, Ugo Nwoke.
News About Nigeria reports that Sharon’s wedding is holding despite revelations made by netizens that her husband, Ugo Nwoke has had three failed marriages.
Recall that a blogger, Stella Dimokokorkus, in her report, noted that Sharon’s husband is a billionaire from Imo State and she is his fourth wife as he has been married thrice.
According to her, Nwoke has been married to a white woman and two black women and his third marriage which ended in 2023 produced sons.
Although, Sharon’s best friend and Nollywood actress, Bisola Aiyeola, had swiftly disputed the blogger’s claim, noting that she would not allow her disrespect Sharon.
Although Stella ended up apologising, some curious Nigerians came up with proof that Sharon was not the first woman that Ugo is marrying as he had been married before.
Sharing pictures and their divorce proceedings, the netizens made it clear that Ugo’s previous marriage ended in 2023, although the wife had filed for divorce in 2019 and they have been separated since then.
They, however, couldn’t justify the blogger’s claim that Sharon is his fourth wife as they couldn’t show proof of the remaining two wives he had married.
Despite the drama, the couple still went ahead to have their church wedding today (Saturday) with Pastor Bolaji officiating.
Sharing a clip from the church wedding, the pastor noted that he is there to pray over the couple.
His post reads, “Congrats Sharon and Ugo. Here to pray over them.”
He also shared another video with him giving the couple the license to officially kiss with the caption, “Sharon and Ugo kiss.”
