Popular Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has sparked various reactions from netizens after she congratulated her ex-best friend, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his wife, Chioma Rowland, ahead of their wedding.
News About Nigeria recalls that Davido and Eniola Badmus used to be so close and never ceased to flaunt their friendship on social media until Eniola made a YouTube documentary about the singer’s late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, which led to the end of their friendship.
However, ahead of Davido and Chioma’s wedding, which is slated for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the actress took to her official Instagram account to congratulate the couple.
Sharing a photo from their wedding photoshoot, Eniola Badmus congratulated Chioma and Davido ahead of their grand event, saying, “Super Congratulation my people wishing you beautiful journey always #chivido2024 @davido X @thechefchi.”
Reacting to her post, an Instagram user, @rinamaf08 slammed her for addressing Davido and his wife as her people.
She wrote, “Which your people? make I hear again oh. Just allow this ones for us abeg na T baba be your own na make we no argue this night abeg.”
Another Instagram user, @albarhika said, “You keep posting OBO even after misunderstanding but you never post Funke Akindele.”
Also, @benbimbo93 also quizzed her if she would be attending the wedding knowing fully well that attendance is strictly by invitation.
“Just asking will u b there ma? or can u go there ma?” she asked.
Another IG user, however, lauded Eniola for celebrating Davido and Chioma, noting that she is a good woman.
