A past housemate of the Big Brother Naija reality show (BBNaija), Daniella Peters, has cried out after almost being kidnapped, News About Nigeria reports.
Daniella, who was a contender for the N100 million grand prize during the Level Up Season, took to her Instagram page to recount the horrifying experience.
The Cross River-born stated that she had booked a ride on one of the Uber apps, Indrive, in Abuja on Friday morning, adding that she asked the driver to stop and let her down almost immediately because she felt uncomfortable with him.
She noted that the driver seemed suspicious, but he ignored her plea to drop her and began to speed after locking the car.
The reality TV star disclosed that she opened the door manually and left it open until she had the chance to jump out of the car.
According to her, the driver did not stop even after she jumped out, adding that he continued speeding off.
She called for justice and appealed to relevant authorities to look into the matter, maintaining that she was not okay.
“I booked an InDrive ride in Abuja this morning, literally like an hour ago, and i honestly was almost kidnapped. I had to jump out of the car.
“I asked the driver to stop and drop me almost immediately the ride started because of his state. It seemed extremely suspicious and made me very uncomfortable.
“He then locked the car doors and started speeding, I opened the car manually and left the door wide open until i could jump out. I jumped out and he continued driving off.
“Please help me repost until I get justice, I am not okay,” she stated.
