Nigerian Afrobeats singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, sparked various reactions after he said that veteran producer and music executive Don Jazzy is an amazing human.
The Afrobeats King said this in a post on his official X account on Thursday.
He wrote, “Don jazzy!! amazing human!”
News About Nigeria reports that Wizkid’s tweet has been sparking various reactions because he disrespected Don Jazzy in April by calling him an influencer.
Recall that Wizkid had shaded Don Jazzy after the music executive signee Ladipoe seemingly ridiculed the singer in an X post for claiming that ‘hip hop is dead’.
After a fan alerted Wizkid to the post, he reacted by saying, “Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”
Reacting to what Wizkid said about him, Don Jazzy unfollowed him on Instagram.
However, in a shocking turn of events, Wizkid took to his X handle to hail Don Jazzy, describing him as an “amazing human.”
Reacting to his post, an X user, @OGBdeyforyou queried his recent show of love for Don Jazzy saying, “Na here we dey that day you call Don jazzy influencer o.”
Another X user, @Irunnia_ also noted that Wizkid’s sudden change and acknowledgement for Don Jazzy is the reason why he does not like carrying other people’s matters on his head.
“This is why i don’t like carrying people’s fight on my head. So everyone that carried this fight on their head will calm down now,” he wrote.
Also, another X user, @bigOla_mide wrote, “You were disrespectful to him some days ago. This is not an apology! Apologize or remain canceled!”
