Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has called on the Nigerian Police Force to release the body of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, for a proper burial, News About Nigeria reports.

In an Instagram post on Friday night, Dikeh expressed frustration with the police’s delay in completing the investigation into Mohbad’s death, urging them to expedite the process and ensure justice prevails.

According to her, she has invested too much of her emotions and time in the case and would love to see the late singer get justice.

In her post, Dikeh stated, “Give us Mohbad for a befitting burial. We are tired of your carelessness and slowness. If no one speaks, I will. I have invested too much of my emotions, time, and love to see this Justice go through. Honestly, we have given you all more time than necessary. This is not the case to be swept under. We want Justice.”

MohBad, the ‘Beast and Peace’ crooner, passed away on September 12 at the age of 27.

The Lagos State Police Command had earlier released Naira Marley and Sammy Larry, who were arrested in connection with Mohbad’s death after they met the conditions for their bail.

The two were granted bail of N20 million each, with three responsible sureties, by Justice Adeola Olatunbosun of the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court on November 6.

As part of the bail conditions, both individuals must surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

The arrests were made following the circulation of online videos depicting assault against the late artiste.
