The hospital where Mohbad was allegedly treated before his demise, Perez Medcare Hospital, has revealed that the singer was brought into its facility dead.

Making this disclosure in a statement released on its social media page, the hospital explained that there was no sign of life in the singer’s body when he was brought into the hospital.

“We consider it pertinent to put on record that at about 04:30 pm on the 12th of September 2023, the lifeless body of Mr. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (AKA Mohbad) was brought to our medical facility and our medical team immediately sprang into action and after assessment, it was discovered that there was no sign of life, no central or peripheral pulse, no heartbeat, no recordable vital signs and his pupils were fixed and dilated,” the statement read.

The latest revelation further fuels controversies surrounding the singer’s death as an earlier narrative indicated that the singer died after visiting the facility.

The hospital’s statement calls amid calls for a probe into the hospital’s activities following the singer’s death.

Earlier reports have suggested that the singer died after he was injected by one of the nurses at the hospital.

The latest development comes just as the police and the Department of State Services, DSS continue to intensify efforts to unravel the cause of the singer’s death.

News About Nigeria had earlier reported that the police had completed an autopsy as it progressed with its efforts to unravel the cause of the singer’s death. The Police, however, pleaded with Nigerians to remain calm while it continued its investigation.
