The grieving mother of the late singer Mohbad has tearfully appealed to Nigerians to help find Naira Marley, alleging that the Marlian Record boss, along with Sam Larry, frequently subjected her son to beatings and harassment.

The singer’s mother shared her son’s suffering while speaking with actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo, who paid her a visit at her home.

She recounted how her son had endured significant hardships at the hands of Naira Marley and Sam Larry.

According to her, her son would often cry and be subjected to physical abuse, preventing him from attending his scheduled shows.

She said she did not know who Sam Larry was and also asked Nigerians to locate Naira Marley, who she claimed had treated her son like a slave during his time at the record label.

“My child will be crying all the time. They will be beating him whenever he goes for a show. A show he is supposed to go for he will not be able to attend the show; they will be beating him.

“Sam Larry, I don’t know who that is. I don’t know anybody. I don’t know any strong person. I have seen you people now. You have promised me. Help me find Naira out; he used my son as a slave. When my son was with Naira, he never gave me money. Please help me find him out.”

She further shared that her son would plead with her not to let them kill him, and she would reassure him that she knew people who could help.

News About Nigeria understands that the visit from Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo is part of the growing calls for justice for the late singer, whose death has sparked nationwide protests and demands for a thorough investigation to uncover the truth.

Police authorities have already initiated a probe into the matter, and the public is eager to see the outcome.
