Omowunmi, the girlfriend and baby mama of the late Afrobeats singer, Mohbad, has been left heartbroken by his untimely death and has shared her grief with her followers on Instagram.
In a series of Instagram posts, Omowunmi expressed her deep sorrow and concern about caring for their baby boy, who just turned five months old.
She revealed that she and Mohbad had welcomed their son, named Liam, five months ago.
She said she was confused about how to move forward now that her beloved boyfriend has passed away.
She also shared throwback and current images of herself with Mohbad, showcasing their journey as parents together.
In her emotional posts, Omowunmi emphasised the uniqueness of their love story and the hard work they put in to reach the point they were at before Mohbad’s tragic demise.
Omowunmi went on to say that they had a lot of plans and that the obligations of two had become one.
“Liam is just five months today. Where do I start from? Somebody should help me I can’t do this alone. Our love story was a different one, we fought really hard to be here. Ahhhhh I don’t wish this type of pain on anyone.
“We had so many pains, two responsibilities have now become one. You were my ride or die, I tried my best to make you stay Ileriouluwa. Ahhhhh I repeat I don’t wish this type of pain on anyone.”
According to a source within Mohbad’s team, he had sought medical attention at a hospital on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, to address an infection that had developed from an injury.
News About Nigeria gathered that while at the hospital, he received an injection and subsequently lost consciousness, never to regain it.
