The inauguration ceremony of the 45 confirmed ministers-designate appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently ongoing at the Conference Centre of the State House in Abuja, News About Nigeria reports.

This event comes shortly after President Tinubu assigned specific portfolios to the appointees.

Several minister-designates have already been sworn in and have officially assumed their roles as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The first batch of minister-designates to take the oath includes Lateef Fagbemi, the Minister of Justice from Kwara State, Nkiruka Onyejeocha, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment from Abia State, and Uju Kennedy, the Minister of Women Affairs from Anambra State.

The swearing-in ceremony followed the reading of the appointees’ citations by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale.
