Popular Nigeria artiste, Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, best known as Brymo has made a fascinating revelation about why he refused a feature request from colleague, Simisola Kosoko, aka Simi.
According to him, he not only had turned down the request of the singer but also that of her husband, Adekunle Gold, News About Nigeria gathered.
Brymo revealed this while replying to a fan who suggested to Adekunle Gold to feature Brymo on his upcoming album “Tequila Ever After.”
Revealing further, he said he declined to work with Simi in particular because she refused to “get intimate” with him.
Brymo wrote: “Though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate, because I turned down the same request many years before. I also did same with Simi, said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity. I didn’t know they were together, of course.”
According to her, she and Falz were never from the beginning, a thing, as they were both relating on a professional level.
During an interview on MTV Base Africa’s program, Official Naija Top 10, Simi clarified that their connection was purely professional, and any rumour suggesting otherwise was spread by misinterpreting fans.
In their early career, the duo had done a collaboration on the well-known song “JAMB Question Remix,”
This then generated positive responses from fans making them work on “Soldier.”
