Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City may receive a bid from Saudi Arabian team Al Ahli, News About Nigeria gathered.

The club is rumored to be offering Mahrez a staggering £865,000 per week in a deal that has piqued the player’s interest.

Al Ahli is reportedly willing to pay £30 million to secure the services of the 32-year-old Algerian star who currently has two years remaining on his contract at Manchester City, where he earns over £6 million per year.

In a separate development, Jordan Henderson, the captain of Liverpool, has also received an enticing offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Ettifaq that will see him earn £700,000 per week.

Henderson who has spent 12 years with Liverpool, is regarded as a vital figure both on and off the pitch, serving as a key player and a leader in the dressing room.

The midfielder’s current contract with Liverpool still has two years remaining and is worth £200,000 per week, some £500,000 difference from what he is proposed to receive in Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, there is interest from Saudi Arabia club Al Ittihad in Liverpool’s midfielder Fabinho. The Saudi club has been actively reinforcing their squad and recently secured the services of Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante on free transfers.

The Saudi Pro League champions also acquired winger Jota from Celtic for £25 million. They are now preparing a £40 million offer to Liverpool for Fabinho’s transfer.

The Saudi Arabian clubs have made significant moves in the current transfer market, showing their ambition to pursue high-profile players and offering them substantial financial packages for their expected top quality services.
